Echocardiographer Specialist

HCA Florida Capital Hospital is seeking a skilled Echocardiographer to join our team. As a Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for obtaining diagnostic ultrasound images in Echocardiography, External Carotid and Internal Cranial arteries. You will assist the physician with obtaining images during Transesophageal Echo's and demonstrate sound knowledge and proficiency in the use of diagnostic ultrasound and sonography techniques and equipment. Prioritize and organize patient flow to ensure best utilization of time. Establish and maintain a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments and Medical Staff. Demonstrate competence when performing other related or licensed functions. The ideal candidate will have an Associate Degree or Certificate through a nationally recognized school for Echocardiography, Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Cardiac Sonographer certification, and knowledge of the cardiovascular system and EKG arrhythmias. Flexibility with work situations and basic clerical skills are also required.
