Job Summary

As an Audiology Extern at Florida ENT Associates, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed clinical audiologist to assess and rehabilitate individuals with auditory and vestibular disorders. Your primary goal will be to prevent hearing loss and conduct research in normal and disordered auditory and vestibular function.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Under the direct supervision of a licensed clinical audiologist, you will identify, evaluate, and assist in the habilitation/rehabilitation of individuals with peripheral or central auditory impairments, as well as vestibular impairments.
  2. You will provide information on hearing, hearing loss, and disability, as well as prevention and rehabilitation to business and industry. You will aid in the development and oversight of hearing screening programs to detect individuals with hearing loss of all ages.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a BA/BS in an Audiology Program
  • One year clinical site requirement for licensure
