Role Expectations:
Are you an experienced HR professional with a commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture? We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team. In this role, you will support HR initiatives and objectives within a vibrant manufacturing environment, ensuring a culture that prioritizes high performance and employee engagement.
This position requires on-site presence during standard business hours.
- Guide employees in understanding company HR policies and procedures.
- Manage Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) administration.
- Facilitate process enhancements and ensure timely follow-up on HR issues.
- Clearly communicate all aspects of employee benefits and ensure comprehension of enrollment requirements.
- Maintain accurate and confidential personnel records.
- Build professional relationships with employees and actively engage as a visible and approachable HR team member.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred; PHR or SHRM certification is a plus or in progress. An associate degree with relevant experience will also be considered.
- 1-2 years of experience in a Human Resources role.
- Experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR Information Systems (HRIS).
- Exhibit strong diplomatic skills along with sound business judgment and relationship-building abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Knowledge of HR best practices and Federal & State labor laws is required.
- Essential character traits include integrity, honesty, thoroughness, trustworthiness, and diligence.
