Position Overview:
- Supervise the intake and discharge processes for inmates, ensuring compliance with all necessary documentation and protocols. Manage inmate belongings and financial accounts, and prepare essential paperwork for their release.
- Update and maintain accurate records in the database by calculating time served, confirming release schedules, and documenting any new charges. Engage with inmates to verify their information and charges.
- Assist inmates by providing information regarding their cases, clarifying sentencing details, and coordinating court appearances.
- Coordinate off-site visits for inmates, confirming visitor eligibility, and overseeing visits to ensure adherence to facility regulations.
- Execute additional assigned tasks and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience in areas such as cash handling, customer service, or data entry
- Competent skills in reading, mathematics, and writing
- Mandatory certifications to be obtained within six months of employment: CBI and Notary
Applicants must be prepared to undergo:
- Written assessments specific to the job
- Oral interviews
- Polygraph examination
- Comprehensive background checks, including criminal, driving, and credit history
- Medical evaluations as required for the position
- Psychological assessments
Education Requirements: GED or High School Diploma
