Job Summary:

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with children from birth to 3 years old, addressing their functional needs in various developmental domains. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us provide high-quality services to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement therapy programs to prevent or minimize the impact of initial or future impairment, delay in development, or loss of functional ability.
  • Adapt the environment to meet the needs of children and their families in play, self-help, and behavior development.
  • Evaluate and implement a therapy program of purposeful activities that are rehabilitative, active, or restorative.
  • Train and support family members in the implementation of the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and environmental consultation.
  • Complete necessary documentation to facilitate reimbursement through primary funding sources.
  • Promote activities in the natural environment to enhance the implementation of the IFSP.
  • Comply with First Steps Provider Agreement regarding continuing education and other standards.
  • Report any suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation immediately to a supervisor or department head.
  • Ensure compliance with all standards to assure the health and safety of all individuals.

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Registration with the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • Certification by the Medical Licensing Board.
  • Meet criteria for First Steps Provider Enrollment.
