Key Responsibilities

  • Provide continuous support to patients and their families through effective reception and clerical duties.
  • Maintain the workflow of the care center to facilitate efficient operations for staff and physicians.
  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention practices and promote a safe environment for all individuals.
  • Actively participate in enhancing communication channels among care providers to improve patient outcomes.
  • Respond to patient alarms and alerts, ensuring timely notification of relevant staff members.

Qualifications

Education


• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience


• A minimum of 1 year of experience in health unit coordination, scheduling, or registration within a healthcare setting is preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently while being accountable and reliable.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and effective planning capabilities.

• Proficient in using computer applications, including Microsoft Office and internet resources.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely in both written and verbal formats.

• Proven conflict resolution skills and the ability to understand and address the needs and feelings of others.

• Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service and adapting to various personalities and situations.

• Knowledge of quality, safety, and infection control standards is essential.

• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English effectively.

• Understanding of legal, regulatory, and procedural requirements related to the role.

• Adherence to the principles and standards outlined in North Memorial Health's Code of Conduct.
