Key Responsibilities- Achieve new business growth by identifying and maintaining quality revenue-generating sales opportunities.
- Evaluate loan requests from non-profit organizations, considering factors such as business needs, desires, abilities, and earnings.
- Explain loan options, rates, terms, and collateral requirements to clients.
- Coach and lead a team to develop a high-quality, long-term prospect portfolio.
- Develop and maintain a referral network with internal and external contacts for new business opportunities.
- Take ownership of overall credit quality of loans generated and reviewed within the team.
- Effectively manage timely resolution of exceptions, renewals, reviews, and the credit process while adhering to all policies and guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field.
- 10+ years of commercial banking experience, preferably in the government, non-profit, healthcare, and/or education space.
- Exemplary communication skills (both verbal and written) and executive presence.
- Successful track record of driving new business growth and developing well-rounded client relationships.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and interpret the principles of accounting, credit, and finance.
- Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations covering commercial banking activities.
- High ethical standards and personal integrity.
