We are currently seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant I to join our pediatric hematology oncology department. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the delivery of primary and preventative health services.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform various clinical tasks, including phlebotomy and lab procedures, under the guidance of physician/provider direction.
- Assist with maintaining patient flow and promoting efficient operations in accordance with stated policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with clerical staff to optimize office efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Provide excellent customer service skills and support the model of patient-centered care.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or LPN, EMT, ER Tech, paramedic certification or equivalent and relevant experience required.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association upon hire required.
