Job Duties- Assess, plan, organize, and evaluate nursing activities to meet the needs of patients.
- Promote adaptive responses of patients and families to achieve the highest level of patient care, promote safety, and maximize patient satisfaction.
- Exhibit compassionate care during patient-nurse interactions.
- Coordinate patient care and interaction of staff.
- Meet the qualifications to provide care for patients in their assigned nursing unit.

Geisinger Medical Center's Psychiatric Unit has 26 semi-private beds, 2 single room beds, and 2 unlicensed beds in private/seclusion rooms. Our collaborative team approach within the unit and with other units throughout the system ensures that you will be working in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Education and ExperienceGraduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required)
Certification(s) and License(s): Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body; Licensed Practical Nurse - Default Issuing Body
