Job Summary:
Geisinger Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) team. As a PICU RN, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill children, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and conducting diagnostic studies.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in unit-based decision-making, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
  • Actively participate in patient quality and safety education programs, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements:
  • Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing.
  • Basic Life Support Certification and Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) certification.
  • Strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
