Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders in students, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans, and providing direct therapy services across various school sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluation and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Therapy and Intervention: Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs, using evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Service Delivery: Provide direct therapy services across various school sites, ensuring effective and supportive interventions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student success and integrate therapy goals into the classroom setting.
  • Progress Monitoring: Document and track student progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • IEP Participation: Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Washington.
  • Certification: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with children in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and educational staff.
  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to the needs of multiple school sites.
