Position Overview:
The Controller will take charge of financial governance across all operational sites.

As a pivotal member of the Finance Operations leadership team, the Controller will collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Internal Controls, and Operations to ensure robust financial performance, adherence to internal controls, accurate financial reporting, and operational excellence.

This established role will also serve as a strategic partner with Finance and Operations leadership to shape and implement future financial governance and business partnership models with global operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Internal Controls:


Act as the primary finance liaison with Corporate Controlling and Internal Audit to guarantee that internal controls are effectively designed, implemented, and functioning at the site.

Oversee the execution of internal controls at the site on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Proactively assess the internal control environment to identify potential risks and address them with management.

Reporting & Analysis:
Collaborate with Corporate FP&A and Site GM to guide the planning and budgeting processes for all site operations.
Establish and monitor site-level financial and operational KPIs.
Generate and communicate insights that empower site leadership to enhance financial performance and operational excellence.
Work alongside site leadership to conduct ad hoc analyses that support financial and operational decision-making.

Inventory Management & Control:


Collaborate with Materials, Supply Chain, and Finance Operations teams to develop and maintain a site-specific Integrated Inventory Management model that optimizes working capital efficiency and ensures timely customer deliveries.

Partner with the Warehouse team to guarantee that appropriate physical and transactional controls are in place to maintain accurate inventory levels.


Plant Profitability:
Engage with site leadership to comprehend key P&L drivers and proactively manage monthly and quarterly P&L objectives.
Work with Site GM, Commercial team, and Corporate FP&A to enhance plant operations and supply chain performance.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration:
Promote a collaborative culture across functions and teams.
Partner with Global Supply Chain, Account Operations, and Plant Operations to implement and manage cross-functional initiatives.
Collaborate across multiple global sites to identify and apply best practices.

Qualifications:
Strong business acumen, leadership, and communication skills
Ability to lead and influence across various functions and leadership levels.
Expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining an effective internal control environment within a manufacturing context.
Experience in establishing operational and financial KPIs in a manufacturing and supply chain setting.
Solid understanding of GAAP in a manufacturing context
Knowledge of costing principles and the ability to drive financial efficiencies in operations and supply chain.
Proficient in ERP systems, with a preference for SAP experience.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
CPA designation preferred

Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in accounting and finance within a manufacturing environment.
Prior experience leading and executing finance, accounting, and financial reporting responsibilities in a manufacturing context.
Familiarity with SAP ERP preferred.
People management experience is a plus but not mandatory.
