Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Country Pure Foods. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including engines, motors, pneumatic tools, and conveyor systems.
  • Quality Control: Inspect equipment and machinery to ensure they are functioning properly and make adjustments as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts as necessary.
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with maintenance manager and other team members to prioritize and plan work activities.
Requirements
  • Education: One year certificate from college or technical school; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skills: Basic computer and keyboarding skills, knowledge of inventory and maintenance-related software, and PLC experience a plus.
  • Physical Demands: Regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. Frequently required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and smell. Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
