Nurse Manager

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Charge Nurse to join our team at Sakakawea Medical Center. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a vital role in the care of our residents, providing leadership and guidance to our nursing staff.

• Provide direct care to residents, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
• Develop and implement resident care plans, in collaboration with the Director of Nursing and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.
• Participate in infection prevention and control measures, including monitoring and reporting of infections and outbreaks.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement policies and procedures, as well as to ensure quality and continuity of care.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Unencumbered RN license with the NDBON and/or possess multi-state licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
• Two or more years of nursing experience, preferably in geriatric care.
• Knowledgeable on basic care licensing regulations.

The Charge Nurse will work in a fast-paced environment, providing care to residents with varying levels of acuity. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals, and prioritize tasks to ensure timely and high-quality care.
