Human Services Social Worker Master's Degree Specialist

The Sacramento County CA is seeking a highly skilled Human Services Social Worker Master's Degree Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our public services department, you will provide direct social services to clients, dealing with complex individual and family problems, and acting as a program and casework consultant to staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct public social services to clients, addressing complex individual and family problems.
- Act as a program and casework consultant to staff, providing guidance and support.
- Develop and implement effective social work strategies to address client needs.
- Collaborate with other departments and agencies to ensure comprehensive services are provided.
- Conduct thorough assessments of client situations, identifying areas of need and developing plans to address them.
- Provide crisis intervention and support services to clients in need.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community resources and organizations to ensure access to services for clients.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on best practices and industry developments.
- A Master's Degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Experience working in public services or a related field, preferably in a social work capacity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Knowledge of community resources and organizations, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with them.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
This position requires the ability to work in a variety of settings, including offices, homes, and community locations. The incumbent must be able to sit for periods of time, climb flights of stairs, and lift up to 40 pounds.
