Social Services Professional and Human Services Specialist with Advanced Knowledge and Abilities

The Sacramento County CA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Services Social Worker to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing public social services to clients to promote human well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver public social services to clients to promote human well-being.
- Work effectively with clients from diverse social, cultural, and economic backgrounds.
- Collaborate with other agencies and organizations to provide comprehensive services to clients.
- Conduct interviews and assessments to identify client needs and develop service plans.
- Provide case management and counseling services to clients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community resources and organizations to provide clients with access to necessary services.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement service plans.
- Document client interactions and service plans in a timely and accurate manner.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in public social services.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in social work, sociology, psychology, counseling, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in public social services or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of community resources and social services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Master's degree in social work or a related field.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including children, families, and individuals with disabilities.
- Knowledge of cultural competency and diversity.
- Experience with case management and counseling.
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in a language other than English.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to handle multiple tasks and priorities. The incumbent must be able to work effectively in a team environment and to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Special SkillsThis position requires specialized skills in human services and social work. The incumbent must have a strong knowledge of community resources and social services, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Language RequirementThis position requires the ability to speak, read, and write fluently in a language other than English. The incumbent must have a strong knowledge of the language and culture of the population they will be serving.
