The Rehabilitative Therapy Specialist in Home Health is tasked with assessing and evaluating patient care needs related to functional capabilities, daily living activities, fine motor skills, home evaluations, and other therapeutic requirements as dictated by medical conditions.

  • Delivers services within the professional scope as defined by state regulations, adhering to the care plan, utilizing evidence-based practices, and collaborating with the healthcare team.
  • Assesses the patient's functional capabilities and overall health status as necessary for documentation, while consulting with physicians to formulate the therapy care plan.
  • Records and communicates the patient's treatment responses and any changes in their condition to the supervising nurse and physician.
  • Conducts thorough patient evaluations to determine functional levels through diagnostic and prognostic assessments.

Licensure Requirements

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license in the respective state
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation

  • AR: No additional state-specific requirements.
