Pipefitting Journeyman

MTech Mechanical is seeking a skilled Pipefitting Journeyman to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for performing pipefitting job assignments according to MTech Mechanical safety standards and guidelines, and within budgetary constraints.
Key Responsibilities- Meet all requirements of a 4-year apprentice
- Knowledge of all tools, equipment, and skills necessary for the complete installation of projects common to the HVAC/piping industry
- Direct the activities of field crew members in accordance with job schedules and priorities
- Submit daily job progress reports to supervisors
- Responsible for ordering stock or fabricated materials, physical jobsite organization, and safe operation of company equipment
- Responsible for instruction and on-the-job training of apprentices/crew members
- Ensure compliance with local/national codes and industry standards
- 4-year apprenticeship certificate or 4 years of field experience
- Thorough knowledge of all aspects of pipefitting, construction practice, and safety procedures
- Working knowledge of all relevant national and local codes and company and industry standards
- Reliable transportation to and from work required
