Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at St. Luke's Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing patient conditions and providing appropriate respiratory care in critical and non-critical areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and maintain ventilator support for adult and pediatric patients
  • Evaluate patient conditions and document findings on medical records
  • Administer respiratory care and oxygen therapy modalities as ordered by physicians
  • Participate in code blue and rapid response teams
  • Perform arterial punctures and analyze blood gas values
  • Insert arterial lines and perform diagnostic studies
Requirements
  • Current license as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Received credentials through the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • Minimum of 6 months clinical experience
  • Certified in Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support required within one year of hire
