About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at The Verland Foundation Inc in Cheswick, PA.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to individuals under the supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON). You will also assist with physician visits and contribute to the development and implementation of health care plans for assigned individuals. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and be able to establish effective working relationships with other members of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT).

Compensation Package

This is an hourly, non-exempt position that offers a competitive salary of $7,500 per annum plus additional benefits. These include minimum 24 hours worked per week, Comprehensive Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, and so much more

Responsibilities

  • Administer and document prescribed medications and treatments.
  • Assess the physical status of individuals daily and report any unusual behavior or condition to the Charge Nurse.
  • Develop and implement health care plans for assigned individuals as a member of the IDT.
  • Participate in and attend Nursing Department committee meetings as assigned.
