As a key member of our dermatology department, you will work closely with both a dermatologist and a physician assistant, providing comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced environment. While specializing in dermatological procedures, your role will also encompass essential primary care duties, ensuring a seamless experience for our patients.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct support to the dermatologist and dermatology PA, assisting with patient examinations, treatments, and consultations.
- Perform a range of dermatological procedures, including biopsies, Botox injections, fillers, Trusculpt treatments, LPL laser therapy, Ultherapy, and VI Peel applications.
- Contribute to primary care operations by taking vital signs, administering EKGs, and conducting COVID-19 testing (PCR and antibody).
- Collaborate with the front desk team, cross-training in receptionist duties to ensure smooth clinic operations and patient flow.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant with a strong emphasis on dermatology procedures.
- Exceptional phlebotomy skills are essential for this role.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring a positive patient experience.
