Job Overview

The Sales Representative role is a key position in our organization, responsible for selling wholesale equipment to customers within their assigned territory. Successful candidates will establish long-lasting relationships with customers, provide expert guidance on equipment management, and serve as a trusted resource for resolving product issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dedicate time to identifying and engaging prospective customers, offering assistance or direction to those who could benefit from our services.
  • Assist customers by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses, providing personalized solutions to meet their needs.
  • Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospective customers, highlighting the value of our equipment.
  • Describe all equipment options available for customer purchases, ensuring customers make informed decisions.
  • Build strong rapport and life-long relationships with customers, fostering a culture of trust and loyalty.
  • Effectively overcome objections, close sales, and perform all other steps of the sales process in accordance with company standards.
  • Actively use and update the Client Relationship Management System (CRM) to track customer interactions and sales performance.

Benefits and Compensation:

  • Competitive base salary and uncapped commission structure, with an average annual income of $150,000.
  • Monthly vehicle reimbursement of $675 plus mileage, plus a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401K plan with company match, plus a generous paid time off policy and short/long term disability coverage.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience with heavy agriculture equipment and/or construction equipment required.
  • Proven sales success in achieving or exceeding goals, with a strong track record of building customer relationships.
  • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal staff to achieve individual and branch goals.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a strong sense of urgency and focus on time and territory management.
  • Strong computer skills, with a priority on Microsoft Office programs.
