Internship Responsibilities:

As a Service Lab Intern, you will engage in the preparation of laboratory specimens for epigenetic services:

  • Assist the Operations & Services Team with customer project requirements.
  • Learn to perform assigned laboratory experiments with a focus on timeliness and quality.
  • Maintain cleanliness of laboratory workspaces and equipment.
  • Adhere to safety protocols as outlined in laboratory guidelines.
  • Keep detailed records of experiments and instrument usage.
  • Support the Group Leader in analyzing data from customer projects.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members on all assignments.
  • Be prepared to work overtime as needed and undertake additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma is required.
  • Associate's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Undergraduate coursework in biology, molecular biology, or a related scientific field is preferred.
  • Basic laboratory experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and accountability.
  • Enthusiasm for teamwork and contributing to shared goals.
  • Ability to work independently after training and as part of a team.
