Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team at Community Health Systems. As a Plumber, you will work closely with the Director of Plant Operations, Facility Manager, and the Maintenance Team to maintain the Central Utility Plant and other infrastructure equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain the Central Utility Plant, including boilers and chillers
  • Work with the team to maintain larger equipment and Building Automation Systems (BAS) on campus
  • Perform routine maintenance and PMs on campus
  • Read blueprints and diagrams to understand mechanical devices and systems
  • Conduct water treatment, backflow testing, medical gas testing, and fire sprinkler testing
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of plumbing systems and experience working with mechanical devices and equipment. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and management.
