Complex Property Claims Specialist

We're seeking an experienced property claims professional to remotely handle complex property claims nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and adjust large and complex property claims in the United States
  • Analyze property coverage forms
  • Resolve questions of coverage and value of claims
  • Prepare and/or evaluate estimates
  • Assist in catastrophe situations
  • Engage in proactive claims handling, while providing superior claims service
  • Recommend timely and adequate reserves for the ultimate claim payment
  • Prepare detailed narrative factual reports and statements of loss
  • Assist in the education of Field Claims in property claims handling

Requirements:

  • Five or more years of demonstrated expertise in property claim handling
  • The ability to work independently and make informed decisions
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Experience with coverage forms, policies and claims procedure
  • Proficient with CMS operation
  • Proficient in Xactimate
  • Experience handling large high net worth losses
  • The ability to travel as needed
