Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Support: Provide daily living assistance, including personal hygiene, meal planning, and household care, to ensure the well-being and dignity of our clients.
  • Vocational Training: Coordinate and provide instruction in vocational skills, identifying areas where assisted techniques may be useful and developing natural supports to integrate clients into the work environment.
  • Client Advocacy: Assist clients in achieving maximum potential toward self-determination, encouraging independence and inclusion in all aspects of life.
  • Team Collaboration: Work cooperatively with all employees, service providers, professionals, guardians, and families to ensure seamless support services.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document incidents, accidents, and medical issues, and report any concerns or suspicions of rights violations, financial exploitation, neglect, or abuse.
  • Transportation and Safety: Provide transportation to work, therapies, and social activities, and maintain the cleanliness and safety of environments.
  • Confidentiality and Compliance: Maintain the confidentiality of all information and adhere to applicable laws and policies.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalency; minimum age 18.
  • Experience: No experience necessary.
  • Certifications: First Aid/CPR Training, valid driver's license, and current automotive insurance.
  • Skills: Good written and oral communication skills, ability to teach in a variety of settings, and reliable motor skills.
Compensation

$12-$15 hourly wage.
