We are seeking a skilled Utility Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at SEPTA. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet of utility vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues with utility vehicles, including hydraulic systems, emission control systems, and air and hydraulic brake systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
- Conduct Pennsylvania state inspections and determine the extent of required repairs.
- Maintain and repair snow fighting equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a CDL Class A license with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
- Class 7 Pennsylvania State Inspection license and Pennsylvania Emissions license.
- Experience as an automotive mechanic, with a focus on heavy equipment and utility vehicles.
