Job Title: Senior PLC Programmer

Lincoln Electric is seeking a highly skilled Senior PLC Programmer to join our team. As a key member of our automation group, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced control systems for our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program and test PLCs, HMIs, and other control devices to ensure optimal performance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure seamless integration of control systems
  • Provide technical support and training to plant personnel on control systems
  • Stay current on industry trends and advancements in control system technology
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
  • 2+ years' experience in PLC Programming or as an associate PLC programmer
  • Highly proficient in Allen Bradley software and able to adapt to other PLC and HMI programs
  • Advanced PC-based computer skills and experience with Motoman, Fanuc, Panasonic, and/or ABB programming structure
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with integration and custom equipment building
  • MES integration
  • Automated welding
  • Material Handling
  • Automated inspection processes
Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) Responsibilities:
  • Understand the Company's EHS Policy and how it relates to this job
  • Be aware of OSHA & EPA laws and regulations as well as the Company's Plant Rules and Regulations that pertain to this job
  • Work in a safe and environmentally friendly manner and observe all company EHS procedures
