Medical Product Development Manager

San Jose State University is seeking a highly skilled Medical Product Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the Master of Medical Product Development Management program.
Job SummaryThe Medical Product Development Manager will be responsible for teaching courses in medical product development, clinical operations management, and regulatory affairs. You will work closely with faculty and staff to develop and implement curriculum, assess student learning, and contribute to the growth and development of the program.
Responsibilities- Teach courses in medical product development, clinical operations management, and regulatory affairs
- Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students and industry partners
- Assess student learning and provide feedback to students and faculty
- Contribute to the growth and development of the program through research, service, and outreach
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement program assessments and evaluations
To be considered for this position, you must have a Master's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as medical product development, clinical operations management, or regulatory affairs. You must also have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a related field, such as medical device development, pharmaceutical development, or clinical research.
Preferred QualificationsPreferred qualifications include prior teaching experience, industry experience, and a Ph.D. in a relevant field. You should also have experience working with diverse student populations and be able to demonstrate an awareness of and sensitivity to the educational goals of a multicultural population.
