Overview:

The Project Manager I is responsible for managing a variety of projects, emphasizing non-IT business applications. This role involves working closely with project stakeholders, business units, and end-users to establish project objectives, create actionable plans, allocate resources, and ensure successful project delivery. A background in medical devices is crucial, particularly in clinical settings and design controls. Leadership experience in scientific, laboratory, or clinical environments is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project operations and team members.
  • Guide projects through the complete project lifecycle.
  • Engage with stakeholders, business units, and end-users.
  • Ensure project outcomes align with budgetary and timeline constraints.
  • Offer expert advice and support throughout the project phases.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams in scientific, laboratory, or clinical settings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is required.
  • PMP certification is mandatory.
  • 1-6 years of experience in project management.
  • Experience with medical devices and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic assays is preferred.
