The Project Manager I is responsible for managing a variety of projects, emphasizing non-IT business applications. This role involves working closely with project stakeholders, business units, and end-users to establish project objectives, create actionable plans, allocate resources, and ensure successful project delivery. A background in medical devices is crucial, particularly in clinical settings and design controls. Leadership experience in scientific, laboratory, or clinical environments is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee project operations and team members.
- Guide projects through the complete project lifecycle.
- Engage with stakeholders, business units, and end-users.
- Ensure project outcomes align with budgetary and timeline constraints.
- Offer expert advice and support throughout the project phases.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in scientific, laboratory, or clinical settings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is required.
- PMP certification is mandatory.
- 1-6 years of experience in project management.
- Experience with medical devices and managing cross-functional teams.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with diagnostic assays is preferred.
