Clinical Specimen Technician Job Description

RemX is seeking a Clinical Specimen Technician to collect and process blood samples from patients. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in phlebotomy or a related field and be familiar with medical software and equipment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collecting and processing blood samples for laboratory testing
  • Storing and transporting blood samples to designated departments
  • Monitoring inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed
  • Assisting patients with adverse reactions to medical procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in phlebotomy, nursing, or other related fields
  • Familiarity with medical software and equipment
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
