Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Ohana Pacific Health. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.


Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and according to established policies and procedures.
  • Take telephone orders from physicians and transcribe orders to new medication administration records, pre-printed physician order sheets, resident charts, and treatment/care plans as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of resident medications and medical stock supplies, ordering required medications/treatments from pharmacies or other suppliers.
  • Conduct thorough physical assessments of residents, determine their needs, and implement appropriate interventions to meet those needs.
  • Perform assessments on admission, transfer, and/or discharge.

Requirements:
  • $8,000 Retention Bonus with Full-time Status
  • $4,000 Retention Bonus with Part-time Status
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Hawaii required.
  • Experience in geriatrics and current nursing standards of practice preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations required.
  • First Aid and CPR preferred (can be done in-house).
