Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Trauma Program Director to join our team at Prominent Career Solutions, LLC. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in leading our Trauma Department's Performance Improvement and Patient Safety Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate all aspects of the Trauma Department's Performance Improvement and Patient Safety Program.
  • Review and analyze data to ensure compliance with patient care protocols, policies, and procedures, as well as established standards of care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce errors.
  • Manage and maintain the trauma registry, including reporting, data analysis, trend identification, and benchmarking of outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma and Florida Department of Health standards and recommendations for quality and maintenance for trauma center verification/re-verification.
Requirements
  • BCLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications.
  • Florida Registered Nurse licensure.
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course or TNCC Instructor certification.
  • Strong computer and hospital informatics skills, including Microsoft Office and familiarity with American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma requirements.
  • Excellent networking abilities and public speaking skills.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff.
  • Ability to attend TOPIC course within one year of hire.
  • Minimum of 3 years recent leadership experience in Trauma nursing, including project management and Trauma Performance Improvement Clinician Quality/Performance Improvement.
  • Manager or Director level experience required.
