Cinch Home Services is in search of an experienced Senior Information Security Engineer to enhance our cybersecurity framework. This position requires a highly qualified expert with extensive knowledge of intricate IT ecosystems and a successful history of countering cyber threats.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CEH, CHFI, or CISM.
- Proven experience in incident response and digital forensics.
- Familiarity with scripting languages including Python and PowerShell.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in information security, emphasizing threat detection and response.
- Expertise in platforms such as Varonis SAAS, Mimecast, SecureWorks XDR and VDR, Cato Platform and Firewalls, Cato EPP, Cisco AMP, and Cisco Umbrella.
- Comprehensive understanding of cloud security frameworks (AWS, Azure).
- Strong Linux administration skills, particularly with Kali Linux.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough security evaluations and risk assessments to uncover vulnerabilities within the organization's IT framework.
- Deploy and oversee advanced security measures, including Varonis SAAS, Mimecast, SecureWorks XDR and VDR, Cato Platform and Firewalls, Cato EPP, Cisco AMP, and Cisco Umbrella.
- Continuously monitor and scrutinize security systems, swiftly identifying and addressing potential threats and incidents.
- Examine security breaches, conduct forensic investigations, and implement necessary corrective measures.
- Formulate and uphold security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure that security best practices are embedded in all IT operations.
- Offer technical direction and mentorship to junior members of the security team.
- Employ advanced threat hunting strategies to proactively detect and mitigate threats.
- Utilize cloud services (AWS, Azure) for security solutions and operations.
- Maintain a robust understanding of industry standards and emerging security threats.
- Utilize tools like LucidChart for creating clear and effective security documentation.
- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively within the organization using platforms like Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
