We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at St. Joseph Hospital Eureka. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide diagnostic and therapeutic cardiopulmonary procedures and related activities according to department standards.
- Assume responsibility and accountability for care of patients of various ages as defined by the department scope of service.
- Serve as a customer service representative to patients, their families, the public, and the medical staff.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Graduate of a program in respiratory therapy approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education & Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
- California Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
- National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
- 2 years Full time hospital based acute care Respiratory Care Practitioner experience that includes Critical Care, Emergency Department, Medical Surgical, Telemetry, Child Birth Center, Nursery, Neonatal ICU, and PACU.
