**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial HVAC services and exceptional communication skills. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies to drive growth and customer satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Actively pursue and secure new business opportunities with existing and new customers.
  • Build strong relationships with customers to achieve repeat business and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Balance sales mix by adding new business through existing relationships and marketing initiatives.
  • Strive to achieve 100% customer satisfaction and continuously improve processes to minimize delinquencies and meet customer quality expectations.
  • Communicate and facilitate customer needs both in the field and within the organization.
  • Help grow the business by working with all branches and providing leadership throughout the company and with its clientele.
  • Provide and support leadership to improve results and create a high-performance team.
  • Maintain a cost-effective system for hiring and training technicians and sales roles.
  • Effectively manage talent to meet growing business needs.
  • Develop the organization to its full potential by motivating, developing, and directing the team.
  • Evaluate and improve policies and procedures to promote structured accountability amongst employees and operations.
  • Ensure high-level understanding of service offerings and accounting procedures for creating appropriate and effective checks and balances.
  • Work with senior management to maintain, monitor, and enhance the group's fiscal soundness and make financially sound decisions.
  • Prepare and effectively communicate a business and financial plan, and budget that will clearly express a path for success.
  • Understand how to seize opportunities to grow both revenue and service offerings related to the HVAC, residential, and light commercial service business.

**Requirements**

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in management of HVAC service and sales in residential and light commercial.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, Business/Operations Management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet customer requirements.
  • Understanding of service operational concepts and controls for planning, scheduling, inventory control, logistics, on-call, and after-hours.
  • Knowledge of business and financial concepts and techniques utilized to establish value propositions for service contracting offerings and proposals.
  • Demonstrated ability to consider relative costs, benefits, and actions to choose the most appropriate action.
  • Ability to offer solutions and resolve conflicts to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Experience with effectively hiring and developing a high-performance team, and overseeing employee work schedules and activities.
  • Experience providing and/or overseeing training related to various aspects of the HVAC services business.
  • Exhibit integrity and ethical business practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; expert-level with Excel.
