Key Responsibilities- Provide Quality Patient Care: Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in multiple settings, including Pediatrics, Medical, Surgical, Emergency, and Senior Care.
- Supervise and Mentor: Supervise LPNs, Nursing Assistants, and Health Unit Coordinators as needed, and provide guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Communicate Effectively: Maintain accurate and timely documentation, and communicate patient information to healthcare team members and families.
- Stay Current with Industry Developments: Maintain certifications in all areas within the scope of practice, and participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments.
- Education and Experience: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Minnesota.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support, and ACLS, TNCC, or CALS certifications preferred.
- Background Check: Must successfully complete a criminal background check as required by the State of Minnesota.
