Job Summary

Townsend Energy is seeking an experienced HVAC Installation Technician to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for leading installation jobs for residential and light commercial HVAC systems.

We offer a competitive salary range of $35.00 to $45.00 + per hour, based on experience and capabilities. Our benefits package includes medical insurance, vision and dental insurance, basic life and AD&D insurance, long-term disability, and a 401k plan with company match.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead installation jobs for residential and light commercial HVAC systems
  • Install oil, propane, natural gas, and air HVAC systems and duct work
  • Consult with customers and answer their questions
  • Supervise the work of installers

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • 4+ years of installation experience
  • 2+ years of job lead/supervisor experience
  • Radiant heat experience
  • EPA Universal Certification
  • Proficient experience with refrigerant, gas, oil, propane, and electric heating/air conditioning systems, heat pumps, and ductless systems
  • Able to read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and manuals
  • Experience in all HVAC low-voltage systems
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • High school diploma or its equivalent
  • Certificate from an HVAC Technical School desired
