Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Operations Manager to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our pharmacy, ensuring efficient workflow, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate pharmacy operations, including patient registration, prescription data entry, and medication preparation.
  • Supervise and train pharmacy technicians, ensuring they meet state and federal regulations.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve pharmacy efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, patients, and team members to resolve issues and provide excellent service.
  • Lead performance management of technicians, including making decisions regarding discipline and termination.
  • Assist with training and development of pharmacy technicians, including hands-on training and assignment of learning modules.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
  • One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting required.
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous people management/leadership experience.
  • Previous work experience with Walgreens with an Exceeding Expectation on last performance evaluation.
What We Offer

Walgreens offers a competitive salary range of $22.50 per hour - $31.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
