Job Summary

Children\u2019s Hospital of Philadelphia is seeking a Board certified or board eligible Pediatrician to work in a community pediatric primary care office. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and a passion for working with children and families.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to a panel of patients in the practice.
  • Diagnose and treat various conditions, including well and sick visits from newborns through the age of 21.
  • Counsel on vaccines and order labs and testing as appropriate.
  • May attend well baby nursery rounds at a community hospital.
  • Rotate weekend hours and evenings, with on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Doctorate in Medicine (MD) or Osteopathic Medicine (DO) required.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics required.
  • Medical license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and any practicing states required.
  • DEA license required.
