Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Screener - Reception Technician to join our team at CSL Plasma. As a Medical Screener - Reception Technician, you will be responsible for greeting donors, conducting registration procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of our plasma collection center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process, including assessing health history, answering medical questions, and performing health screening procedures.
  • Conduct finger stick tests to obtain donor hematocrit and total protein levels.
  • Provide education to new donors on the use of therapeutic products made from donated plasma.
  • Ensure accurate recording of donor data in our electronic donor information management system.
  • Maintain a clean and efficient work environment, adhering to all Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) policies and procedures.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in a medical or health provider environment.
  • Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
