Position Overview:
We are in search of a committed, empathetic, and highly qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to become part of our dynamic healthcare team within our correctional facility.

This unique position allows you to provide exceptional medical care to a varied patient demographic, often in demanding situations.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all individuals in our care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients within the correctional facility, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
  • Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergency medical situations.
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor patients for side effects or reactions.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Educate patients on health conditions and provide emotional support.
  • Adhere to all facility and nursing standards, policies, and regulations.
  • Engage in continuous education and professional development to maintain current knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:
  • Current and valid RN license in the state of Georgia.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in corrections, acute care, or a similar setting.
  • Experience with diverse patient populations and managing various medical conditions.
  • Exceptional clinical skills, including effective assessment and diagnosis of patients.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
