Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Ascension St Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton, WI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality computed tomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Prepare and position patients accurately, selecting anatomic and technical parameters as needed.
  • Administer contrast media and/or medications within the scope of practice and applicable regulations.
  • Monitor patient safety and report any abnormal activity during procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date.
  • Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board required.
  • One or more of the following certifications required: Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
Work Environment

This is a full-time evening position, Monday through Friday, with on-call time every fourth Friday. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced hospital environment, collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
