Job Overview

KEITH is seeking a skilled Instrument Operator to join our Survey and Mapping team in Pompano Beach, Florida.

The successful candidate will assist the Party Chief in daily operations, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating and maintaining equipment, including Total Stations, levels, and GPS devices.
  • Collecting and accurately recording field data, including topography and feature locations.
  • Providing leadership and training to crew members, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Performing construction staking and layout, property corner and boundary line identification, and topographic surveys.
  • Utilizing automated and field book data collection systems.

Requirements include:

  • Experience with Trimble GPS (Static and RTK), TDS Survey Pro, and/or FDOT's EFB/CEFB data collection systems.
  • Ability to work outdoors daily, lift a minimum of 50lbs, and remain standing for extended periods.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to drive company vehicles to and from job sites.
  • Flexibility to work overnight and travel when required.
