Job Summary

The Respiratory Care Practitioner is a skilled professional who provides high-quality patient care in various settings. This role requires a minimum of one year of experience and a strong foundation in respiratory care principles. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a commitment to patient safety, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist in the treatment and diagnosis of patients with cardiopulmonary dysfunction.
  • Provide care in general and critical care settings, including pediatric and neonatal units.
  • Assess patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in respiratory care and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Associate of Science Degree from a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.
  • Minimum one year of clinical experience.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
  • Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) certification and current age-specific Advanced Life Support Provider certification.
