Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner to move materials within the warehouse.
  • Use a variety of equipment, including conveyers, cranes, and power trucks, to move materials and products.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and materials moved.
  • Develop skills in basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within the warehouse.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Zero to one year of warehouse experience or related experience and/or training.
  • Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend documents written in English.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations.
  • Ability to work in a metrics-driven environment.

Working Conditions:

The Warehouse Operations Specialist will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with moderate to loud noise levels. The position will require frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, balancing, climbing, lifting, and reaching.

Physical Demands:

The Warehouse Operations Specialist will be required to lift and/or move objects weighing over 50 pounds. The position will also require working near moving mechanical parts, extreme weather conditions, and vibration.
