Responsibilities

The Supervisor RN is responsible for coordinating, supervising, and overseeing the daily operations of the Nursing Department. As a Supervisor RN, you will assess, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care from admission through discharge.

Your role is crucial in achieving patient outcomes through the implementation of critical pathways, in alignment with the hospital's mission.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, evaluate, and ensure the execution of the patient's care pathway to achieve defined outcomes.
  • Assume a leadership role in delivering quality nursing care for patients within the nursing department.
  • Make decisions guided by established policies, procedures, and the business plan.
  • Demonstrate ongoing competence in assessing, treating, and caring for individuals based on age-specific needs with a developmental perspective.
  • Exhibit appropriate knowledge and skills relevant to the position.
  • Identify and resolve operational challenges using defined processes, expertise, and sound judgment.
  • Supervise the efficient functioning of the unit during assigned shifts while collaborating with the Nursing Manager and/or Director of Nursing.
  • Coordinate work activities with fellow supervisors.
  • Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion and develop plans to meet short-term objectives.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

  • Current Licensure in the State.
  • Successful completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support Course.
  • CNOR certification preferred.
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing and/or BSN; a Master's degree in Nursing/Management is preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, including 1-2 years in a supervisory role.

Compensation: USD $95,000.00/Yr. to USD $115,000.00/Yr.
