Position Summary
As a Patient Care Technician, you will operate within both classroom and clinical settings to gain essential training as unlicensed assistive personnel. In the clinical environment, you will provide fundamental patient care under the guidance and supervision of clinical educators and nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist with basic patient care tasks such as taking vital signs, bathing, dressing, and moving patients
• Change linens and perform other duties as assigned within your scope of practice
• Gather information regarding patient conditions as requested and report any changes to nursing staff
• Complete a competency assessment at the conclusion of your training to validate your learning

Qualifications
Education:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred

Experience:
• Prior experience in patient care or healthcare settings is preferred

Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Strong time management and analytical skills
• Flexibility to thrive in a multi-tasking environment
• Dependable and meticulous in completing job tasks

Licensure/Certification:
• BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire
