Senior Faculty Member in Rehabilitation Studies

The Department of Community Health Services and Rehabilitation Science within the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh is inviting applications for a 12-month appointment as a Senior Faculty Member. The selected individual will be responsible for delivering course content related to Rehabilitation Studies, guiding students in the undergraduate program, and engaging in departmental, school, and university governance and service, alongside other responsibilities as assigned by the department chair.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
  • Demonstrated experience in higher education teaching.
  • Proven track record of mentoring undergraduate students.
  • Evidence of service within a university setting.

Preferred:

  • At least five (5) years of teaching experience in a college or university environment.
  • Licensure as a State Board of Chiropractic, PA Department of State.

This position is a 12-month appointment outside the tenure stream within the Department of Community Health Services and Rehabilitation Science.
