Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Case Manager to provide supervision, guidance, and support to clients referred to our Ravenhill Program. As a Case Manager, you will work with juvenile offenders under the supervision of the Court, assisting them in maintaining compliance with Juvenile Probation rules and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advocacy and Mentoring: Act as an advocate to the juvenile and their families, mentoring the juvenile to develop appropriate competencies, including decision-making skills, pro-social skills, academic skills, employment skills, and independent living skills.
- Support and Encouragement: Support and encourage the juvenile to accomplish expectations identified by the Court, demonstrating accountability, including community service, sobriety, treatment goals, employment, and appropriate behaviors.
- Behavioral Monitoring: Monitor the behaviors of the juvenile in home, school, and community settings, developing collaborative relationships with school-related employees, community members, and family members.
- Flexibility and Transportation: Be flexible to accommodate changing schedules and team coverage needs, providing transportation for the juvenile as needed to support and aid them in making appointments, court-ordered activities, and pro-social events.
- Documentation and Reporting: Complete necessary progress notes, monthly reports, and other associated paperwork punctually and as assigned.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in the social services field (i.e., Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Human Services) and at least one year of experience working as a case manager in a community setting.
